  • Washing Machine Enhacement

    The project uses 2 capacitive films, one LED film and 1 PCB. The PCB contains one 8 bits MCU responsible for the sensing of 23 touch sensors, display controlled by (SPI), LEDs and communications (I2C) with the Power Board. This solution replaces the functionality of two PCBs, but still communicates with the Power Board that controls all the washing machine devices, for this reason the solution is an I2C slave that just send the status of the electrodes, the Power Board take decisions and modify the corresponding values to make the display or the LEDs work.

    Touch sensing solution to select and control the operation of the modules of a car, the solution consists of two pads one to make a quick selection of the module of the car that is going to be controlled and the other to control such module, the operation of the second pad is related to each module; slide, touch, hold and double click will be enabled or disabled depending on the selected module. The communication with the modules is achieved through a CAN network and the communication to the PMIC and LEDs on the platform is achieved by SPI.
